Tractor For Sale Cub 129 with Johnny Bucket Jr.

Were I closer, I might be a player. As it is I am not. But I do have this for you. I'd be highly disinclined to wrestle this onto my trailer with a flat tire. Just an observation and I hope that it is received in the entirely NOT snarky way that it is intended.

Who has a *Hobbs* meter on their very-early Cub?

Thank you for that. So then, is that a pretty *standard* location? Noting that it is decidedly NOT standard as far as features go.

Who has a *Hobbs* meter on their very-early Cub?

Now, can anyone show me a mounted photograph of the above mentioned meter as the ad notes?: "Mounts in side of dash tower on Original"

Who has a *Hobbs* meter on their very-early Cub?

I'm looking to add a meter but want it to look as reasonably vintage in configuration and placement as possible on my Original. Another thing I'm thinking is an hour-meter with a secondary *trip* function for servicing. Any suggestions for a particular type of meter and placement on the dash...

For our feral and post-feral... those are litter boxes.

CATS Stray, Feral, Housebound, Declawed, and Otherwise

Once feral. Three sisters were birthed in my Buick Gran Sport of a psycho-feral mother. I took charge of them as feral kittens since we were in desperate need of ratters as well as acknowledging the good taste of the mother to choose a classic Buick as a maternity ward. The neighboring business...

these old cubs are like the old harleys

It's true. Most any flat-head/side valve sounds sweet in its own way. Another is the inlet-over-exhaust in my Willys. A GREAT idle to1,800 rpm sound. Too, one must never ignore fine induction draw. That's a great sound as well.

    Wood splitting

I wonder if that isn't kinda hard on the rams not having them of the classic *backhoe* configuration where they are in fact retraced when the bucket is in the fully downward position.

    Wood splitting

I was putsin' about on the internets of things one evening relative to my Land Rover's PTO and found an interesting attachment of an auger-styled log/wood splitter. Has anyone seen or built one for their Cub? Looks like just the ticket for my citrus, pecan, mesquite and mulberry though watching...

They give up some features and conveniences to later models but doggone it.... They are a joy.

    Tractor Wanted Cub 1512 Diesel

Never hurts to ask. I figure though, like so many desirable and relatively rare things that any average current owner already knows 1 - 3 people who what to buy theirs. Guns, motorcycles, Scouts, Land Rovers, Cherokees, Aircraft and more follow these guidelines for me.
