Why are there so many Models?

I always thought the dates were from 1961 to 1981 to be an IH made tractor.

    4 hole plate for plow

I agree with Charlie. You could either weld or bolt the adapter to the 4 bolt plate on the plow and you are good to go. Seems like a good common sense way to solve the problem. It's not rocket science. If you have a sleeve hitch coupler on a piece of equipment that can't be used for one reason...

    Dayton Lawn Tractors!

I have 5 of these Tractors. Two 16 hp. hydro's, an 8 hp. gear drive, which is actually a lawn mower not a GT because it has small rear wheels, a 12 hp. gear drive and a 16 hp. gear drive that was my pulling tractor. The gear drives have the peerless transmission like the 580 cub has. One is a...

    582 PTO

jkoenig, My 1620 has been running for 2 summers, cutting grass once a week, without the relay. What is supposed to be the problem with leaving a relay bypassed?

    582 PTO

I have a 1620 that every time I would turn the PTO on the engine would shut down. It turned out to be a relay that went bad. Bypassed the relay and everything was fine.

    Points cleaning?

In reading these post a thought came to mind. The moisture that is corroding the points inside a building where the air is still seems to be similar to how fog forms when hot meets cold and the air is still. When the wind picks up the fog goes away. If air were circulating all the time would...

    A couple of pics

Does anyone know what became of Hank and Kate Will. The last time I saw him was at a plow day in DuBois about 2004. Not long after that he seemed to disappear.

    A couple of pics

Here is some pics of my 71. Before and after. Don't know if anyone remembers Hank Will, but he came from California to Maryland to take the after pics and it got posted in a couple magazines and he had some postcards made up. My claim to fame for what it's worth.

    Some extra parts

I used to run an excavator and would dig up wooden items that had been buried for years that were still in very good shape. It does have something to do with no oxygen to cause the breakdown process. I'm surprised that somebody who designs the landfills hasn't figured out a way to get at least...

    Postal delivery problems

Most of my packages come via UPS but the problems with the post office go far beyond packages. I had a package that required I sign for at delivery. The person delivering it couldn't get down my road that day because of construction so what do they do, they give it to 1 of the construction crew...

    Some extra parts

They used to but the landfill where you would take them doesn't even want them anymore. I always took my cans to the scrap yard and sold them. The price of cans is way down. The crusher is allowing me to put about 3 times as many cans in a bag as before and saves me a lot of space and hopefully...
