Tractor Wanted Model 100 - Western NY

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a model 100, running and driving, and preferably with a mower deck. (Although will consider without a deck.) To use as a backup mower, and perhaps to restore someday, (depending on condition, I also like to keep tractors original if they are in good shape! :)...

Model 147, standard vs. optional features.

Excellent, thanks again David. So only one front wheel option, and two rear wheel options, and mine has the wider of the two rear options. Interesting! Thanks.. Scot

Model 147, standard vs. optional features.

Can anyone tell me if the wheels on my 147 are standard for that model? Or are they a wider/larger option than what would have come with the tractor? The front wheels are 6" wide, and the rears are 9" wide at the tread, 10" wide if including the buldge of the sidewalls. Thanks, Scot

    Wheels up or down ?

Great thread! Thanks everyone, I wasn't sure if the deck was meant to literally ride on the wheels or not.. now I know! Another variable to add to this mix: I have a new (to me) model 147, with a working electric lift for the 42" mower deck. How do I set a repeatable deck height with the...

Hi everyone, I bought my first Cub Cadet last weekend! 😀 I made a thread about it here: My first Cub Cadet, model 147. Now I'm interested in its history! And learning more about the model 147. I know it was the "top of the line" model for 1969, '70, and '71, and the often considered the...

My first Cub Cadet, model 147.

Hi everyone, I got my first Cub Cadet today! :) a really nice 1971 model 147. 😀 I've been into vintage garden tractors and snowblowers for awhile now, and I've been mowing for 10 years with a 1964 Wheel Horse, but I've always wanted a Cub Cadet too..So I've been casually looking and...

Tractor Wanted Wanted, model 107, 127, 147, 682 or 782, in Western NY.

Hello everyone, I am looking for a Cub Cadet (just one) model 107, 127, 147, 682 or 782, in Western NY. Within a 60 to 90 minute drive from Rochester NY. Looking for a working tractor, with a mower deck. (For a 682 or 782, id like an IH-built machine, serial less than 700,000) I plan to use...
