    1450 surging

I flushed the tank before installing the new strainer / valve. Good thought on the filler vent.

    1450 surging

Hi All, Last fall one of my 1450’s began surging when running and was unable to get above mid rpm. I knew the carb had some issues, so I replaced that along with the filter / valve assembly at the base of the fuel tank and hose between last week. When I started it after parts changes, it still...

    Here's a long shot question!

Digger, the backwards 3 might mean cavity 3 in a multi cavity tool. When we have products produced in a multi cavity tool, we have each cavity numbered in case there is an issue with one cavity.

I agree with not climbing under. That is the nice part of having an impact, it allowed me to reach under and remove and replace the blades without climbing under. If I was to climb under jack stands would have been used. Steve, The guy I bought the loader from had swapped the loader from...

Morning All, I am mostly a person who enjoys reading the forum and not posting so much. This has be a place of great joy for me for many years. That said I thought I would post a picture of how I sharpened the mower blades yesterday. Usually I take the deck off to get access to the blades...

    Trees

Thanks Guys, Earl, I was very surprised there was not a lot of wobble. I felt very secure. It was very easy to control. I need to do some work on that same side of my house on the second floor. For $250 for a day I am thinking I will rent it again. It will be a lot easier than moving a...

    Trees

More on the trees: The cadets had plenty of use I this process. I was very glad to own a loader. The lift had just enough reach to get to the roof of the second-floor dormer. It had a branch stuck under a shingle when the tree hit the house. After two VERY HOT (90’s) days...

    Trees

Hi All, Wanted to share my cadet usage (among other things) this past weekend. Last week a dead tree came down and struck the house. Luckily, the tree broke instead of the house and just missed the AC system. The problem at that point was this tree was one of eight in the cluster and...

One thing I noticed when cleaning up this time was how much better traction was. Two weeks ago I added 6.5 -7 gallons of washer fluid per tire to the rear of both tractors. I found the thrower pushed into the snow much better and the plow did not spin the tires at all. I picked up a couple of...

Hi everyone, The weather guessers said we received 19 inches from last Saturday’s storm. I live next to a field which results in drifts to bare spots so it was hard to tell. I started with the modified thrower and cleaned up with the second tractor using the power angle plow. My wife took a...

Jeremy, I believe it will work on either tractor types. It is designed to remove the pins from any shaft up to the diameter of the hole in the tool. For more info see the instruction sheet Charlie posted back on Friday, October 28, 2016 - 04:44 pm. Rich W.
