Aaron, Any worries about bending your loader arms if you hit something solid (ice chunk, rock frozen to the driveway, etc.) with that blade?

Charlie, I'm thinking we'll get 4-8" in Fargo-Moorhead, but I'm hoping for 2'. If not, my snow fences should catch some extra snow from the wind on Friday-Saturday.

All came with my Dad's Cub Cadet 682: 42" snow thrower. It's rusty from sitting outside, and the auger has some chunks missing out of the spirals. (I'm not sure which model - it appears to be adjustable for narrow and wide frames, but it may have been hacked up to fit the 682 by the previous...

I am looking for the engine and hydro side driveshaft couplers for my 782: I'm also looking for the pieces to fill in the grill of my 682: The parts don't need to be perfect, they just need to work. Shipping to 58103, e-mail address is [email protected]

    Steel ??????????

Anyone have experience with the MillerMatic 180 with Auto-Set? Seems like the Auto-Set feature would be nice for those of us who only weld once in a blue moon... (They're $700+, so that sort of shoots the budget for the OP, but I'm willing to save up a little longer if the machine will last me...

Mat, how does that bottom pivot allow the front and rear frames to "twist" independently, like when going over a bump? (I'm having troubles visualizing it.) Is it a pillow block or something else?

    782d & model 450 snowblower

I love the traction (and pattern) I get with the ags, but I hate them when I have the snow blower on... When I make a sharp right turn, the lugs wedge against the blower lift rod and I have to back up to free it up again. I'm afraid I'm going to bend something one of these times. (I have...

    782d & model 450 snowblower

They did make a spring assist for this blower, but the ones I've seen were between $150 and $250, which encouraged me to just live with the lopsided lift.

    782d & model 450 snowblower

Thomas, The lift rod attaches underneath the tractor to a bracket that mounts to the 782's lift linkage: Here's what the bracket looks like:

That's awesome. *Crazy* - but definitely awesome.

Dennis - Based off the number on the casting, it's a 35 HP Kubota: http://www.kubotaengine.com/products/05/v1505_e3_2.html

Dominic, What in the world are you doing to your poor 982? My 782 has 150 lbs hanging from the foot rests, 150 lbs on the tires, 120 lbs off the back, and my <ahem> 350+ lbs in the seat, and I haven't yet had the misfortune of breaking an axle. (And tilling is actually pretty low stress on...

    1862 snow blower slung low

That's just how it is. My 782 w/450 blower gets the right side off the ground about 4" and the left side is at about 2", and this is with the adjustable lift rod being screwed out as far as I'm comfortable. (I don't want it to bind and bend the threaded portion.)

Looking for a KT17 Series II or similar to wedge in my 682. Not too concerned about the PTO fitting on the output shaft.
