    102 starter generator questions

I am aware of cw and ccw rotation.I am more worried about the armature windings that look overheated. I haven't found any electrical shop nearby that could test it for me to be sure it's ok. Thanks for the reply

    102 starter generator questions

Last winter my starter/generator was intermitantly charging.I didn't think much of it till spring when I removed the snow blower and saw whips of smoke coming from it.I popped the end cap off thinking maybe brushes, but the armature windings look overheated and I can't find anyone close by to...

    Snowblower question

It looks to me like that welded on bracket is just welded over the top of the original.I did basically the same to mine except I just pinned it.I extended mine about 6 to 8 inches and it still takes two hands to lift it.

    106 cub winter ready......I hope

Well I played with the cub today. The 44a is on hold as it looks like I'll be fabricating some parts, but on the bright side,I made a lift rod and got the snow thrower mounted and ready to go. I also ordered a new lever grip and float button from CCS,should complete that project. It fits...

I am almost willing to bet the tractor wasn't even running for the photo. It looks staged to me.

    Hello from upstate NY

Ok,so the ride was a little longer than anticipated(just shy of 5 hours one way),but here is what I picked up....well worth the drive IMO. One wide frame hanger assembly and one narrow frame assembly. This should give me enough to work with.

    Hello from upstate NY

Ok,quick update. This weekend I am going to look at some hanger/subframe someone has listed. The pictures they posted looks like have at least 6 or 8 of them, maybe more! I am pretty confident I will be coming home with one, maybe two and get this worked out. I am kind of anxious to see what...
