    1984 Cub 1711

The deceased owner of the CC1711 was a Corvette body specialist and then got off into Ferrari body work. They tell me the engine in this unit was replaced under warranty sometimes in his ownership and shows only 400+ hours. I know that it runs well and has lots of power for cutting tall grass. I...

    1984 Cub 1711

I bought this CC1711 several years ago now for $250. It was nice with only 400+ hours. I can't fix anything myself so I had to pay my lawnmower fix it guy plenty$ and it needed some parts including the deck hubs and those cost a lot. But it is all good as I mow about an acre when needed (evey...

    Scouts Honor, Farm Strong

There are 2 gas tank filler opennings on the front fenders. The owner said that there are auxillary gas tanks up there. Correct?

    Scouts Honor, Farm Strong

We were chasing ducks all over the Mississippi Delta back in the late 70's, 80's and 90's. The mode of transportation were these Scout's, Bronco's, Blazer's/Jimmy's and a more rare Ramcharger. Before Honda 3 wheelers became available we just motored out into the middle of those big bean fields...

    Gardens 2023

A change of subject: I am in central Mississippi. It is raining today. Since July 4 I have had 7/10''s inch of rain. It is death zone for plants and trees down here . I have 4 (and probably more) 40 year old pines dead. Cedar trees, Leyland Cypress, lawn grass. This my 74th summer and never...

    CC 1711 Power Steering

    Thanks. Will do.

    CC 1711 Power Steering

Gary: I feel that a good lubrication of that front end/steering would likely help. I have a IH108 and it is very similar to this machine and the steering effort is not so tough as this CC. I'll try that and thanks.

    CC 1711 Power Steering

Ain't it the truth. Those are the best looking small tractors ever. This thing with a little over 400 hours runs great.

    CC 1711 Power Steering

Maybe the tractor steering needs to be lubricated some. It is tough to turn, perhaps toughter than it should be. I can do it but it takes an effort. Tks

    CC 1711 Power Steering

This fine CC1711 cuts like a champ. But at age 74 and trying to steer and manuver around a lot of trees and stuff at this shop where I cut the grass is wearing me out. Can you buy a power steering unit for such a unit?

    Motor oil

There are some other guys arund here that I am sure that does this oil/gas pickup. They don't have the $200k+ Safety Klean rig. I'm going to call one of them. They are likely 1/2 of the Safety Klean rate.

    Motor oil

I have a classic car retoration business. We have some waste oil and gasoline. We use Safety Clean to pick up this stuff. They came this week and took off 10 gallons of oil gasoline. They charged $19.33 per gallon! Is that robbery or not. We will just keep the gasoline and use it on a burn pile...
