    Hydro pins stuck down.

I feel stupid to post this because I have helped tell people on here why and how to correct the free wheel mode. Now everything I try, the pins are down flat. I was working on my snow plower project all winter and had lever in free wheel. So I got the blower mounted and running great. But...

    Solenoid

I have a cub 169. It does something similar. My battery full charge, I get a hard chattering solenoid when key is in start position. From the key mine goes to PTO limit switch. And the to clutch/brake limit. Then the signal goes to the solenoid. Did you check voltage through these two switches...

Snow blower 36 compared to 42

Thanks for the info and pictures I finally got mine to lock into the frame. It was very heavy doing it alone. But 2x4 helped get the correct height. Going to make a small pallet to store it on with exact height needed.

Snow blower 36 compared to 42

I have a 36 inch cub blower that came with my 169. I not see many post on the smaller blower just the 46 I think we're the numbers. I hope this one is wide enough to clear a path for the rear wheels. Does anyone know how QA-36A blower works? It is in great shape, no rust new decals. I hope it...

Mule drive fork access pins on tractor frame.

Has anyone had one these bolt head pins break off tractor frame. I like to see what this part looks like. The parts books so far just show the frame rail with the holes. Prior owner has large square nut with a lock washer floating between the nut and frame seized to big bolt. Make mower deck...

    Snow blower project

Is it common for the Mule drive pin to break? I wonder if it was threaded original part.

    Snow blower project

Can I ask if anyone has a picture of the pin configuration the Mule drive slides onto. I looked in manuals in here but they just show the hole in the frame. I show a picture of what prior owner stuck in place. I like to put correct pin back in place. I. Try to remove the Hillbilly repairs and go...

Cub 1862 plow or snow blower

Could I ask some of the negative about the blower? I have one for my 169 and want to try it this winter just to see how it works. Now my comment on plow. I have a old manual transmission ATV. It has a heavy blade and I am surprised what it can do in 3 feet of snow. And when it comes to wet heavy...

    Snow blower project

Here is my next hopefully quick project. This snow blower is a QA-36A it seems in great condition. It came with the tractor few years ago. For some reason they painted it red? Even has new decals. It has a mint condition manual for the blower. I can not believe how heavy this thing is, compared...

    Headlights

Someone in the past removed the headlights from my 169. They put what looks like a factory flat plate from another model cub. So I found these Led flat lights draw very little amps. They are amazing bright. I like to find a bulb in led that will go in the cub tail lights
