    Steering wheel removal

I removed mine by using a 3-eared puller with the arms off and replaced with light chain around the steering wheel spokes. I placed half round pieces of 1" air hose under the spokes , it came right off with out any hammering. I soaked the area inside with PB Blaster last night and let it sit.

I have a Line-x bed too, kinda expensive for this application. I’ll probably go with flex-seal

What do y’all think about coating the inside of the battery box with Flex-Seal. Of course, I will unplug the drain hole.

You will notice in the picture the tunnel cover did not have a release lever. I ordered one that did and plan on putting the wheels back on and doing just that. It came this evening, so next picks will be much cleaner…..lol

They only sell complete assemblies. 783.00 to replace it all. I think I’ll look some more….lol. I have some good sources here. I will see if I can find some bearings

Took the mower deck off today. Will break it down for blasting tomorrow evening. I’m going the check the spindles for wear. Anyone know where I can get a parts diagram with part numbers for a 441U-1111 deck? Spindle bearings specifically. Also going back with all stainless steel fasteners.

In the first picture, that runner looks like it got knocked. Am I right? Shouldn’t it be stra ight like the other one?

Well, it’s home. I whooped! 600 miles there and back, with 3 hours getting it to run good enough to put on the trailer. Carb is leaking a bit. Needs rebuilt! Hydraulics is perfect. And it will scat. I will drain all that and put a new filter and Hy-Tran Hyd. Oil in it. It was slam full of Hyd...
