    Mower Deck Drops on 108

    Also to clean the debris, it was easy to remove the covers and blow out all the materials. I also was able to grease it up and like I said, it mowed very well with no problems.

    I did get if fixed using a framing hammer. It did not take much to bend the brackets. The deck still seems very strong and intact but I will watch to see problems. I did not have any problems mowing or having the deck slip off. Also I did get the deck blown off but put the covers back on...

    Looking at 1641

    Thanks for the helpful information everyone. I thought about it some more and I have decided I am going to stick with my 108 for now and see what I can do to make that work much better. I know this will be helpful for others if they are considering at 1641 in the future.

    I am looking at a 1641 that a guy has for sale. B&S engine with 54" deck. Any experience with these for lawn mowing. I like that it has hydrostatic drive. Appreciate any help.

    Back in the Forum SD

    Happy to be back in the forum. I was last in a few years ago. I am in the Black Hills of South Dakota and have a 108 which has served me well for a few years mowing on our property. Happy to see the great discussions and those who really love these tractors. Kent
