    Thanks. I chipped it up quit a bit getting it off. I needed to get to the points to check voltage inside. The points were very corroded. The tractor is not firing. It has been sitting outside for about 6+ years and has not been started up for that long. I do have 12 volts coming to coil and...

    CUB 154 Distributor inside dust cover for (points & condenser) remove ??

    Trying to remove the inside of the dist. dust cover. Will not come off. Seems to be stuck or is there something that holds it on. ? Should it free spin on and off, or does it have a "keyway" and will not spin ? Took off rotor and but black cover will not come off.. (Picture attached )
