    Lubricating Idler Pulleys

    I just squirt some WD-40 each time I mow. That is about an hour for me. Some will say it’s too light, but frequent application is the key. Just wipe any excess off the bottom of the pulleys before starting the mower.

    As long as it is the lower half of the tires, it would lower the center of gravity, however strain on a 7 hp engine moving 500 or so pounds would not exactly make it snappy!

    I have a 71 and had about 2,500 lbs of mulch in my 5x8 trailer. I had to have my son sit on the hood to keep the front end down when going uphill!
