    Picked up a John Deer

    I don't know about the stats of a 500, But I used one at work for 8--10 years and it did a great job and never failed to do its job! 700--800 hours on it when I retired, and it was running and all just as it always did! The 500 series was good mowers 500-530--540 Ones I have seen are anyway!

    I went back and checked it, I don't see any 1 . I had it looking good long time ago, Doing a refurbishing on it. but she is showing her age again. But I'd bet you a hundred dollars to a donut, She'll fire right up... I got to get a photo or two on here.

    Hi From Virginia.

    My brother has a 122 and uses it to this day to mow & pull wagon . It set in a old shed for years , Shed finely fell down on top of it. Neighbor said, If You dig it out , Its yours. Well He did and had it running with in a hour! Good luck with yours, There built like tanks!

    I have an Original Cub , I have had it many years now, Runs and mows to this day, Yeah smokes a little and deck needs new bearings now. Has original front tires on it. Never was sure of its age, Can someone let me know how to figure it out. Thanks Dave

    I'm in need of a set of 26x12x12 tires

    Just bought a set of 26x12x12 off Amazon 108 each free shipping Local tire shop charged 10 each to mount , takes them 20 minutes maybe to mount them both, Took me half the day to mount one of the front tires I got for it last year, So I'm good with the extra 20 to get them mounted.

    I would love to find a Cub Original with in 3hours drive of me here in Va. zip 24319 -- I would drive another hour for good one I would need it to be in Good running condition -All there --restored or not--but must be good running condition. Have one--Know of one--Drop me some E-mail on it...
