OK you gurus. I have recently purchased a 782D. Yippie! It runs well and has low hours. I have a few odd maintenance chores to catch up on but no big deal. It came with 44" deck. I know it will fit a 50" deck. My big question is can I go any bigger deck size? I do have a supersteer axle...

    Air Compressors

Allen, I have used PVC in the past. it is easy to work with... However I have learned that it is a potential hazard. It may "explode" and fragment if damaged. Kind of like destroying a flourscent light tube. I have not researched the oil compatibility issue/s either.. I am currently...

david P If you still have the safety switch on the clutch pedal. My 129 sometimes takes a couple of stabs at the pedal to scrub the contacts to get the circuit going. However Ignition switches are pretty notorious. I have had three that the prong on the back of the switch rusted off...

james crews, I broke several teaser spings on our 102. I had been taking the driveshaft to the local cub dealer and having them replace it and install it. Well I finally took the shaft apart myself and found the area under the teaser spring and the release bearing worn like an hour...

todd w, Neat old school tractor. Most farmeers weren't rich and it is neat to see. Maybe you should preserve it as you got it as a testament to the days of old. Have fun with it. It sure has its own character and would certainly stand out from the highly polished and restored...

That thing almost makes the old bathtub cubs look good...... They just forgot the steering wheel. with that rear bumper looks like you could store it on end, like the old snappers.

Dennis, I bought a clutch assy from Midwest about a year ago for my 102. I asked about the AL disc. Midwest stated it was strickly for pulling and basically has two modes. ON and OFF with little or no slippage possible. I had them build a stock replacement for my 102. Fibre disc and all. I...
