Kraig&Marlin, You confirmed my thoughts as I have only seen the pto and nothing ever connected.Seems like that would have been a place for design of a rear rototiller vs the long $100 dollar belt.

Keith O. Usually when you install a new follower that takes care of the tight spots. The gear is much harder than the follower and that is why if you try to adjust the play out of the steering you end up with real tight spots.A good question why didn't I.H. roll those threads over the entire...

This happened to me one time when I was having trouble with a 1450 running like it should.I had worked on it 3 or 4 different times with same result.Still didn't run right. Finally pulled the engine to make sure it was in time.It was in time and this time I changed the stator. That cured my...

Thanks Don. The 52 & 60 are from quiet line I guess as they have the longer reversed choke lever.

Over the years I haven't paid much attention to which carb goes with which engine and recently I put new rings, piston and rod in a 14hp.The owner has a new #26 carter and says it bogs down when he engages the deck.He has an older #30 carter that has some problems but the engine doesn't bog with...

Dennis. I have a pair of those black plastic weights that I was thinking about using because of the skid problem.I am kinda thinking 5o more pounds may not be enough to eliminate the problem but 150# would.

Yes my 782 has 4 hub caps.I have been mowing with a 1450 with weights and I have a sharp turn that goes down hill. The 1450 never slid down the hill but the 782 does.I will try with a pair of white weights and see if they stop the skid.

I recently found a red 782 and almost looks like new.Can some one tell me what wheel weights were on the red ones? I also tried to send a picture of my 70 but the message went but pic didn't.Too big I think. When I get that figured out I will get a pic of the 782.What a machine it is.
