    yes its the pipe thread that is stripped and i have the two 1/4 holes on each side john deer used those 1/4 holes for there elbow great idea thank you ill let you know how it turns out

    I have my dads old 1211 149-630-100 with a kohler m12aqs(k301) engine. Iam fixing it up ran into trouble with exhaust port in the block it is stripped out elbow thread is ok. talk about loud. Any ideas on how to repair the threads in the block?
