First off gang I am so glad to see your families involving the younger ones. Many of us guys stand and applaud the little ones as they pull! This is how we keep the sport alive and families stay closer! Priceless. Many of us have agrued the weight on the rim or hooking it to the back...

Darren: I love both types of pulls but I enjoy running pulls just a little more. Reason they go faster and I think you have more options on how to build a tractor. From the stock classes on up but also it takes a little more money then dead pulling. Problay most of you members are set up...

You guys have been pretty quiet for way to long isn't anything going on in pulling land? Last fall I started building a dead weight puller only; working an achieving a weight of 800 lbs. or less including myself which I have lost 28 lbs. Took several parts from different donors and making 1...

Karen: Instead of buying new one start looking for a 149, 1450, 1650, 782 and such that has had a good home. Keep the old guy to play with! You will be money ahead and something that is easy to work on and will last you a lot longer than the "box stores". Oh is that how we start a...

Richard: I use HVLP and just love it, less overspray and easier to use in my thinking. Practice a little bit with one and then you will be good to go. Got mine from Eastwood. Question guys: As I am rebuilding my 106 installing a new seleniod and voltage regulator does the painted areas...

Frank: You are going that far by taking the shrouds off by all means pull the head replace the gasket. Also a great time to clean and check around the valves. Turn it over a few times to see if the valve movement is good. Could very well resolve any issues you have. Pops

    D. Ryan: There is a big difference and I could write a whole page but do not have time. 1st off stick to your local stock class (the wilder you get the more money it will cost you)the best thing I can offer is hook to the sled and go. Try 1st gear the first time and learn how to lean back...
