    1811 hydrostatic question.

Good day Cub Cadet folks. My 1811 Hdro has a lot of hours on it but still preforms with style. My concern is the loss of consistent speed when going up and down grades. Going up it slows and down it increases. When leveling out, it returns to the set speed. I'm not familiar with how the tranny...

    Off-topic mower blade option question

Good Morning all. Been reading the posts on blades. Last year I bought a set of factory blades for my 50" deck. At $75 each. The lift is nearly gone and the front cutting edge needed a bad sharpening. The blades are suppose to be hardened, to hold up. My lawn has a lot of sand under it which...

Have I got the right oil.

Drove over 100 miles, round trip, to get to my nearest CIH dealer. Picked up 2 gallons of Hy-Tran oil. Nowhere on the container does it indicate the spec number. Only shows MAT spec. The counter man couldn't answer my question as to the required spec, B-6 or 1209, for my 1811. I can only assume...

Can you supply me with a web site for them? Thank You. I understand that the transaxle requires a B 6, Hy tran fluid. I can't seem to locate that type oil anywhere locally. Any help in other compatible oils?

Thank You, Mark. So I can assume it's the valve being defective? I was thinking of replacing it but $460 is a bit much. Thanks again.

Thank You. I appreciate a place where I can ask for help before blindly replacing parts. As for the leak from my transaxle, further checking shows the leak comes from the left side relief valve on top of the tranny. Appears to have a vent hole on top, where it's leaking. Is it a bad valve?

I was very aware of the level of fluid, but it didn't seem to come up to the full indication on the dipstick.

Having an issue with the tranny. Leaking fluid from the top, after changing the fluid.
