slowly working on a Cub Cadet 100 restore

Wondering what the thoughts are on Front Axle diagram. The grease fittings in TC-103 are facing the rear and the notches in axel are not shown. same in another diagram found in google search.... but looking at most pictures of cub 100 the grease fittings are facing front and notches to the rear and steering on left. Also, in both pictures the pin hole of axle pin is on grease fitting side so that make me believe that grease fitting goes to the front. but then doesn't that make the steering connection on the right? and then the tie-rod is not correct? or am i looking at the picture wrong? (If this was posted before my apologies.)

thanks.

Spindle grease fittings face forwards. The parts diagram should really only be used for "what part and how many are in the assembly"...the drawings themselves do contain errors such as this one from time to time.

That is what I thought. Just thought they would have done better With parts manual.
thanks

Hi Folks, just Following Your ideas here----Where can I Get a Diagram Like This For My--129--Thanks

Yes it is, first of the WF's, same for the QL's as well.
You wanted a diagram, so here it is!
Just copied and pasted from the parts lookup site
You folks should avail yourselves to all the info there.
Take a peek and check it out, get to know your way around there and it will answer a tom of ???'s you are sure to come up with. Have fun!!
Click on the black Cub Cadet section for IH equipment and the top side yellow for the CCC stuff.
