This is my 6 running/working cubs. And the 124 is my next strip down and refurbish. My 3 year old granddaughter comes to the shop and says mine papa. And I said well yes sweetie it is and she says thanks papa. Her mom already claimed the 70 and the original.

Hey Jake--I Have -2-Cubs and Im Going To Be Working On Them Over time, and You Sure Look Like

You Know What Your Doing, So Id Like To Ask You Questions As I Go--Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated--Thanks--Greg

Sure, message me or ask anytime. There is a lot more knowledge and experience on this website than a guy realizes. The faq is a big help. And a lot of my experience is trial and error and trial and error.

I sure like that 124 w/creeper, but it’s gonna need a seat to be a driver. It might need the steering wheel relocated and reoriented too. I grew up on a 124 w/o creeper.

Sorry. Stuck in an airport ALL DAY NOW, so you guys may get more of my sarcasm than anyone should have to endure.

The seat is already at the Upholstry shop. It’s going to be a great tractor with the creeper for sure. Sucks being stuck at a airport I bet. Thank goodness I don’t fly.

I take the bad with the good. My 10 hour day turned into an 18 hour day, paid every minute.

How does the cost of reupholstery compare to buying the closest version available from CC Specialties ($170 or so)?

Wow! I’ll have to look into that. Thanks.

Greg, here is my latest trial and error situation. The 1450 would run but not correctly. Carburetor on and of and cleaned Uber 6-7 times. After all the trouble I’ve had ruining main jets I had not messed with it. Finally gave it a try and the damned thing was out at least 3 turns. Tightened it up and runs good now. Felt like a idiot but it happens

I forgot a 124 should have the white seat. Ours had a 126 style black seat.

that 70 is a beaut. admittedly i’m biased as the 70/100’s are my faves by far. grandot’s mama has a good eye for old iron!

The seat on my 105.
