Sandblast Prime and paint. Or don’t bother doing anything else. After I painted my rims I used “Murphy’s oil soap tire bead sealer” That’s what we use in the auto field when mounting tires on aluminum rims. Seals good if it’s a problem slow leak

I went out yesterday and bought some ppg 81518 cc yellow 483 for my 1872 will start prepping and make ready for new color application, it sure looks like the same as original... also ordered some more ICI 1 STEP, over the next few weeks as i do the prep work i will post picts of the process in work and share the results for you all to see.
