1966 CC 102 10hp for sale. Tractor starts, runs, and drives. The front right tire loses air after a couple weeks, shifter cross pin needs to be fixed but will go into all gears. The deck has a few small rust holes but is solid and cuts great. I have a temporary wire running from the points to the coil to get spark. Has a new voltage regulator and fuel lines. Wiring needs to be cleaned up and needs a fresh battery. $700 OBO, make me an offer, a little love will get this tractor usable I just don't have time for another project. I can drop off within reason in NW Indiana, or you pick up.

You might want to read the rules for posting in the classified section!
First line states no "make me an offer" posts.

Not really sure what I should ask. I don't know anything about these years. Can I not do an OBO price then?
The ad is compliant with the rules, for it lists an asking price.
The rule isn’t about eliminating use of “OBO,” but rather about ensuring the presence of an asking price.
From there, offers & negotiation can begin without mystery.

*disclaimer! i’m not a lawyer, “but i did stay at a holiday inn express.”
