Hello all, my name is Jason and I was donated a 1320 Cub Cadet Hydro with a double bagger. From around 1990.
The person who gave it to me I know maintained it well, but its been sitting for 3 yrs under cover..I'm in bad need of a riding mower this year and I'm wondering if this old grandma would be worth 300$ more or less to get her running tight

Or should I bite the bullet on something new?

Would finding any parts be a giant pain?? Is this model even worth it?

Any advice or experience would be helpful!! Thank you!

Welcome Jason, There’s someone here that knows about the machine you have. Maybe they can give you some good advice on your project should you decide to use it.

I am no expert on newer models, but I would say 300 to 400 bucks to fix up a cub that would outlast anything built today would be well worth it. That is way cheaper than 3,000 to 4,000 bucks for a new something that would only last a few years. JMHO ;)
If the money is no issue, get you a commercial zero turn and be done with it for years to come.

I have a 1320 that's not running right now and I have the same trepidation. It ran well one day and then the next while it was running, it just shut down. I haven't had time to go over it, but i suspect a safety switch has gone bad. The main problem I've heard of on the 1320's is the hydo giving up. Mine was still working well when it shut down. Parts are getting iffy to find.
