There were three variants of the 48" deck. Any will fit with the correct carriage. The earliest is the "Pin On" style, this would have been available back around the time of the 1x2/3 series. These do not have spring loaded quick attach type pins. Pins and hair pin clips were used, and the carriage bolted on. The discharge had a rod hoop as a guard, also had round runners and gauge wheels.

^^ Early style 48". ^^

The second style was available during the 1x4/5 and 1x6/7 series these were quick attach style and had round runners and gauge wheels. Had an extended discharge and no hoop.

^^ 1x4/5 - 1x6/7 series type 48" ^^

The third style was available during the early years of the 1x8/9 series and had half round runners and no standard gauge wheels.

^^ 1x8/9 series, 48", note half round runners. ^^

The second style is the one that would be the "correct" vintage for your 147.

A ventilated deck! I have some perforation like that on my project 782’s deck. What gauge steel should be used to repair a deck?

It should have the baffles, interesting that the Parts Lookup does not show them. They should be fairly easy to make out of 18ga(?), 2" wide bar stock. They should look like the baffles in Robert's photos, though his is missing the center portion. The underside view of the early variant would not be the way they would look, that early one is unique.
