Transmission isusing some oil, have only used cadet transmission oil and no visible sign of leaks. Is it possible tranmission is "consuming" the oil internally? Have thought about using IH tractor hydraulic oil. I used this years ago and believe this may be a better grade of hydraulic oil.

It's not possible for it to be consuming oil.
