How in the world do I get this pulley off? I've got the nut and washer off.

The cup my very well rusted to the flywheel and the pin on the back of the cup rusted in the flywheel.
Patience and PB blaster along with a few gentle taps with a hammer should loosen it up.
 
The nuts off.. agreed with kharvey, the pin is rusted. Penetrating oil, patience and light persuading.. the pulley will crack on the edge so be careful not to hit or pry on the lip.
 
1/2 of the PB crap does wind up in the trash because the damn pressure craps out and is gone with 1/2 of the stuff still in the can.
Been my experience so far anyway.
 
Never had any problems with PB. Has helped removed old chev stove bolts , think 1940 that were never off before, as well as many other small / large equipment bolts

Not shaking the can well before spraying it or spraying with the can in weird orientations seems to contribute to that. If all the propellant is gone, you can poke a hole in the top of the can and still dribble it out.
 
Try some Kroil oil and you I will throw the PB blaster in the trash.
Look it up Kano Kroil .

David, good question. I'll move it to the proper location.
 
Kroil... PB Blaster.... 2 sides of the same coin in my opinion. for a penetrant oil I make my own snake oil, ATF and acetone / 50 - 50 works just as good as any I've paid for and I can make it in different concentrations if I want or need. pour it into a cheap spray bottle from Home Cheapo.

my 2 cents , works for me and many other folks...
 
I have tried kroil, liquid wrench, wd40 and others but for me the only thing that works is a hot propane torch.
 
Getting back to your original question:

If you have it off, how did you do it?

If its still stuck, I agree that the shroud has to come off because the screen can't come through the hole. There is a pin on one side that goes into a hole in the flywheel. So it won't spin on the shaft. It is probably that pin that has seized. What I would suggest is apply outward pressure while tapping on the side of it with a hammer.
