Hydraulic Lift

On my 1450 with a dual valve hydraulic lift nothing seems to happen. I looked at the valve and the plunger moves up and down when I move the handle, but nothing at the cylinder. I have not used the lift for several years so I am not sure why or when it stopped working. can some one please help me?

MichaeL J: Try your inquiry in another section. The 1450 is an IH Garden Tractor, not a lawn tractor.
