I know the 1100 has the peerless transaxle but I really don't know much about it. I had an 1100 given to me and it looks to be in pretty good shape. However, it won't roll. Even in neutral it won't roll. Is there something wrong with the tranny or am I just missing something?

Jim T: Have you checked to see if the brakes are locked?? This tractor has an exernal disc brake. It's on the left side of the transmission. If locked, you won't move. Check the clutch/brake pedal & make sure it doesn't have the brake lock engaged. If so, unlatch the brake lock and raise the pedal. If not, then check to see if the brake is rusted up....Hopefully it's not inside the tranny....You will need a parts & service manual to fix if that's the case...
