    Carb needle seat installation

I bought an extra deep well socket from a flea market and then took the outer diameter down with a grinder or belt sander. I keep this in a separate tool drawer, so that I know where it is, when rebuilding carbs. It seems to work perfectly and no issues so far with breaking it.

New member from NC and need some advice about my 122…

Seth, I sent you a private message. I am from Oakboro, NC. There is a guy near me, that might be able to help you some. Good Luck with getting it running. I have a 122 also and I really like it.

    Hello , from NC

Welcome to the group David. I am also a North Carolinian. The guys on this group are always a huge help with any questions, so never hesitate to ask. And as Marty said, document everything as it comes apart. This makes it easier to put it together again.

Hello new member here from the west side of North Carolina.

Welcome Tim!! I am also from NC. There is a fairly decent tractor show each year in Hickory/Newton area.

Keeping my deck up on the 128

Like Gary mentioned, I would check the spring first. It is most likely broken. Good luck

    IH Cub Cadet decals -

Can someone else pick up this project? It seems like the versions made so far are not worth having. Surely someone can create a decal that represents this hobby. Kraig's picture above is exactly what needs to be on a decal.

    IH Cub Cadet decals -

I would say definitely go for a third try!! Research 'Cub Cadet Original' from any search engine and it will offer much closer pictures to what this group is about. My display image is a Cub Cadet 100. It has the background removed, if they are interested in it, I could send that file. But I...

The steps on replacing the wiring harness on a 107.

I am working on rewiring a 127 right now myself. I bought it from a gentleman at a price thinking that it would need some tlc to get it running. I went to get my trailer and my son (in case he had to help me push it onto the trailer). When I got there, he had the 127 running and waiting for...

    Kirk Engines

I personally have never been able to order from them. I tried twice and even submitted an order, but never received it, so I gave up dealing with them.

    USPS SUCKS!!

UPS lost a package that was being delivered to me! I ordered a part and the person shared a copy of the address label with me, which was 100% correct. The package was shipped from NJ, went to PA, then to three different destinations here in NC. It was within a half hour of the house at this...

    Wide Frame Taillights

Since the wide frame taillights are NLA from Cub Cadet, has anyone 3D printed a base for use with replacement square lens? I was just thinking that at least this effort would have a more factory look than the oval replacement lights. I looked for the Peterson base (V2546R), but it appears to...

    semi refurb on 100

Nice work on the 100 so far. My 100's are my favorite. The green on the deck ends looks like Rustoleum self-etching primer to me. Someone probably had a can around and just touched the ends up with it. Keep up the good work!!

New Member from NC - Cub 1864

Rich, how much are you wanting for the 124? I am in NC also, but further south than each of you.

    Newly Purchased 126

I would be fine doing that, but the pictures don's show the two large holes in the metal pan of it. Due to that, I need new. I checked and Charlie doesn't have any right now. Headed to Boone to a show this weekend, maybe someone may have a used one there.

    Newly Purchased 126

Just obtained this 126. It needs some TLC, (New seat, new belt, muffler, carb rebuilt). I got it home and remembered that I had an extra headlight panel and surprisingly, it fits this unit. Only thing missing, are the bezels. Anyone have a set of headlight bezels hiding? Has a spray bomb...

Where in North America is Jim, and what Cub Cadet items has he found there?

Creedmoor, NC is just a little over 2 hours from me. I know a guy that is less than an hour from there, I am asking him if he is interested in that. If I were slightly closer, I would go get the 1811, fix it, then return the repaired unit to do the trade. I actually did a similar thing for a...

    Any John Deere owners???

I definitely have both brands!! I have a JD 455, JD 318 just purchased, and several JD 110's (both flat and round fender). Still looking for the 63 110. I just within the last month even got my first Allis Chalmers, which is a 916. The grandkids enjoy riding either and all of them!
