What's going on w/the switch?.
Terminals broke off the ends or just won't turn on the lights?
If the latter, sounds like the inner contacts are dirty or pitted.
Try turning in on and off, back and forth in rapid succession.
Sometimes the friction from that will clean off the crud and allow contact.
I have taken them apart (very carefully) and cleaned the contacts and made them work again..
Worth a try.

On the switch terminal that the wire with the fuse attaches is sparking. I have taken it off, cleaned the terminal but it still will not work. Might try to put a new connector on to see if that helps. Thanks for asking!
